Mount Martha House Community Garden is committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment.

This is an overview of measures we plan on implementing during meetings, workshops, and gardening activities.


We will follow the Mornington Peninsula Shire Covid Roadmap which can be read HERE

By coming onto our site, you agree to the following rules:

  1. Ensure physical distancing – visitors will be reminded to stay 1.5mts apart.

  2. Wear a face covering – all visitors must wear approved face masks at all times.

  3. Practise good hygiene – only 1 visitor inside the cottage at all times and only to use the bathroom where hand soap is supplied. Hand sanitiser is on-site.

  4. Encourage regular hand washing.

  5. Ensure all visitors use their own tools and equipment.

  6. Keep records and act quickly if attendees become unwell – all visitors agree to supply co-ordinator with contact details via the website/email prior to meeting up and inform the committee immediately if unwell.

  7. No visitors are allowed on-site without the supply of contact details.

  8. Notify the Department of Health and Human Services and Mornington Peninsula Shire immediately if any visitor tests positive.

  9. Avoid interactions in enclosed spaces - all interactions to be outside.

  10. Create bubbles – work in groups  2 or 3 people only.
